Reach For A Dream has announced the launch of its annual Dream Raffle, a draw aimed at making the dreams of children facing life-threatening illnesses come true.
The Dream Raffle, in its 31st year, continues with its aim to play a role in inspiring hope by offering once-in-a-lifetime prizes while raising critical funds to fulfil dreams and bring joy to children facing their toughest moments, says the NPO.
As this year's grand prize, one lucky winner will drive away in a new Jetour T2 Aspire, sponsored by Lazarus Motor Company, including R1 500 worth of fuel every month for a year, courtesy of Discovery Insure.
The second prize is a seven-day Mediterranean cruise for two, courtesy of MSC Cruises, adds the NPO.
A fully automatic Philips Series 5500 Espresso machine, accompanied by a R450 coffee hamper and free coffee for a year from Avanti, makes up the raffle's third prize, says the NPO.
Entries to the Dream Raffle are R200 with only 10 000 tickets available. The final draw will take place on 7 December 2026. Every ticket sold helps Reach For A Dream to create hope and uplift the spirits of young patients and their families across South Africa.
"This year, we have even better prizes to make the lucky winners' dreams come true. We've proudly partnered with Lazarus Motor Company and MSC Cruises to offer a brand-new Jetour T2 and a Mediterranean cruise as our grand and second prizes respectively. By buying a R200 raffle ticket, the public can help us continue to fulfil seven dreams a day across the country," says Julia Sotirianakos, CEO of Reach For A Dream.
All raffle operations are fully compliant with the National Lotteries Commission guidelines. Tickets are securely managed through the official Dream Raffle website, which tracks entries and limits in real time, concludes the NPO.
